A simple SAXS beamline with high flux and stability is designed. Its main function is to study the nano-structure (shape, size, distribution, orientation, etc.) variation of nano-materials, biomaterials, polymers, porous materials, soft matter, etc. under different conditions. There are two optional working mode, one is pink beam SAXS and the other is monochromatic beam SAXS. The pink beam from the fundamental radiation of an out of vacuum undulator will be directly used in pink SAXS mode. The enormous high flux will be used to perform high time-resolution experiments. Monochromatic beam also can be used to perform high resolution SAXS.
The experimental techniques include single SAXS,WAXS,combined SAXS/WAXS,and ASAXS. The measuring modules include transmission and grazing incidence, static and dynamic (in situ, Time-resolved ) measurement. The time resolution lies in microseconds to seconds based on different samples environments and detectors. Some sample environmental devices, including in-situ heating, in-situ growing, in-situ tension, will be equipped in our station.
