Li Chun, a member of the HEPS software team, recently published a technical report titled "The Mamba and AI for Science Project for High Energy Photon Source" in the authoritative journal Synchrotron Radiation News. The paper systematically introduces the team's self-developed unified software ecosystem "Mamba" and its pioneering "AI for Science" project for the High Energy Photon Source.
The project has successfully established the Mamba framework, which integrates experimental control, data acquisition, and management, and has deeply incorporated a series of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies. It aims to transform HEPS into an internationally leading "smart light source." This achievement marks a key breakthrough in China's independent innovation in software and intelligent systems for large-scale scientific facilities, providing a complete "Chinese solution" to the challenges of massive data and complex experiments brought by fourth-generation light sources.
