HEPS Beamline Software Group Attends NOBUGS 2024 Conference

The main activity of the NOBUGS group is to organize a series of conferences. The purpose of this conference is to foster cooperation and communication among scientists and IT professionals worldwide who are committed to the development of software for X-ray, neutron, and muon sources. Better data acquisition and analysis software will enhance the productivity of facility users, thereby maximizing scientific output.

At this conference, the HEPS Software Group shared and presented the latest progress in their work. Xiaoxue Bi delivered an oral presentation titled "Large Language Model-based AI Agent as an Intelligent Assistant System for Experimental Data Acquisition at Fourth-Generation Synchrotron Radiation Light Sources." Zhongzheng Zhou presented another oral report on "A Systematic Deep Learning-empowered Denoising Solution for Synchrotron X-ray Diffraction and Scattering Images." Pengcheng Li showcased academic posters on "Comprehensive Python IOC Development with queue_iocs" and "An Unified Attitude Tuning Architecture for HEPS Beamlines."

In addition, during the NOBUGS conference, Zhang Yi, the head of the HEPS Software Group, participated in the Bluesky-related satellite meeting and delivered a sharing report on the Mamba software, promoting the development of international cooperation.
